I used the same brand pick for the last 15 years thinking it was the best available but after 1 hour playing an acrylic pick (not my own) I was hooked and have never used another since, but as someone who can loose picks before the gig, during the gig, after the gig or thinking about the gig it was an expensive habit paying as much as $10 per pick. Then I realized I had the means to accurately make my own picks using machines I already possessed in my repair shop, so I did exactly that but I quickly realized that I could improve on the design addressing my issues with dropping picks and picks moving in my fingers. So after a few design changes and several prototypes I created what I thinks is the perfect pick. Then I thought... why not offer them to everyone and at a reasonable price.
